Druridge Bay

Druridge Bay is a great place to visit as it has a Nature Reserve as well as miles of amazing beach! We only visited the beach due to George and Willow still being so young - therefore limited to how far we can walk, however, we certainly will be back to explore the nature reserve! This beach is an all year round Dog friendly beach with no dog restrictions.

The car park has plenty of car park spaces and provides easy access to both the nature reserve and the beach. Although it wasn't open due to COVID, there is a large visitor centre with a cafe and toilets.

Even though it appears that Druridge Bay is very popular, the sheer size of the beach meant that there was plenty of space for the dogs to roam free. We walked for around an hour and half and passed plenty of other friendly dogs (maybe even stole a ball or two 👀)

After exploring the beach, we headed to our favourite cafe down by Cresswell - The Drift Cafe, click the link to see our review!

We look forward to returning to visit the Nature Reserve!
