Cresswell Beach

Cresswell Beach is one of our favourite places to visit. Close to Druridge Bay, it's another outstanding beach in Northumberland. It's always very clean and seems to be well looked after by all who go. Towards the top of the beach, there are some rocks that are great if you and your dog enjoy a bit of rockpooling. Obviously this depends on the time you're there and the tide.

Similar to Druirdge Bay, due to the size of the beach, it very rarely gets crowded which is great if you're looking to teach some recall. With it being so big, you can pretty much avoid any or all contact if your dog gets nervous around other people and/or dogs.

It is an all year round dog friendly beach so you don't have to worry about any dog bans being enforced.

Another amazing perk about this beach is the Drift Cafe which sits right next to the beach - Please see our review on The Drift Cafe for more information.
