The Boatyard, Cullercoats

This was one of the first cafes we took Luna to when she was a puppy. It was recommended to us by a few people and it did not disappoint. It has a very chilled vibe to it and is dog friendly.

It's very popular place around breakfast which can sometimes mean you may have to queue and wait for a table. If this is the case, you're normally not queuing for that long and they'll let you know the wait times so you can make your own decision.

They serve a range of breakfasts, snacks as well as a selection of hot and cold beverages. (I'd recommend the pancakes). They also have a small selection of dog treats and snacks.

It's a great addition to a morning walk along the beach.

Address 1 John St Cullercoats North Shields NE30 4PL

Parking Information

You can park right outside this cafe if you're lucky to get a space there, or you can park over the road on the opposite side. We always go to the little car park at Belle Vue Street. It's free to park here and we always seem to get parked alright.
