The Black Bull Pub, Morpeth.

We stopped at the Black Bull pub in Morpeth on our way home from Bolam Lake. From the outside, the pub does not look very big and appears slightly older, however inside it looks like it is fresh from a renovation to modernise it, providing plenty of seating inside and out. Dogs are allowed in the back part of the pub or anywhere in the beer garden, however must be kept on leads at all times.

From the start we felt a warm and friendly welcome. All four of us ordered food and a drink, the price was reasonable and the food was of a good standard. The portion sizes are very generous as you can see from the photos below. For the dogs, there was water bowls available. It seems like the ideal pub to catch up with friends due to the amount of seating. We would definitely come back again.
